    Australia fully opens to Covid vaccinated travellers

    Australia on Thursday became fully opened to vaccinated travellers after the country’s Western region became the last state to lift border restrictions. Western Australia had closed its borders to a majority of international and interstate travellers in 2020 to reduce the spread of Covid-19.

    West Bengal adds zero Covid-19 deaths for first time in weeks

    West Bengal on Wednesday saw no death due to Covid-19 for the first time in weeks and the state’s toll remain unchanged at 21,178. Meanwhile, 153 people were detected as Covid-19 positive on Wednesday and the total number of cases have climbed to 20,15,406.

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Thursday address the post-budget webinar on ‘Make in India for the World’. 

    “The objective of the webinar is to sustain the momentum of Union Budget 2022 by synergizing efforts with all stakeholders on various initiatives taken for boosting manufacturing, increasing exports and strengthening the MSMEs,” the commerce ministry said on Wednesday.

The study, published in Lancet Child & Adolescent Health, estimated that over 5.2 million children globally, and 1.9 million in India, experienced death of a parent or caregiver due to Covid-19.

148 aircraft to display IAF power at Vayu Shakti on March 7
